Q: What are the charges associated with filing a Trademark Application with the USPTO using the Trademark Application WizardTM?
A: $895.00, inclusive of filing costs.
Q: Why can the Law Firm of David S. Farber afford to lower its fees to its clients who use the Trademark Application WizardTM?
A: Because you obtain all the necessary information before using the Trademark Application WizardTM saving the law firm time and costs. These cost savings are passed on to the client so that you can afford to fully protect your business, especially as clients will want to file applications for more than one Trademark.
Q: What if I don’t know what Trademark(s) I should file in advance of using the Trademark Application WizardTM?
A: Contact The Farber Law Firm in advance of using the Trademark Application WizardTM and we will assist you in making that determination for a nominal fee of $160.00. If you proceed with using the Trademark Application WizardTM, you will receive a discount code equivalent to $60.00 off the service price. That discount will be good for as many Trademark applications as the client is desirous of preparing on a given day.
Q: What is the procedure associated with my use of the Trademark Application WizardTM and the Law Firm’s role in assisting me to obtain a Trademark?
A: A conflict check is performed in advance of charging your credit card. Once cleared, your credit card will be charged a non-refundable amount of $895.00 (minus any applicable and valid Discount Code) and the information you provided the Law Firm through the Trademark Application WizardTM will be used to prepare the Trademark Application for filing with the USPTO. Once this application is prepared, it will be forwarded to your attention for execution. It's that easy!
Q: What are the traditional time frames associated with filing a Trademark Application with the USPTO?
A: Your Trademark application will be filed electronically with one (1) business day from the day of receipt of your completed information. You should receive a filing receipt no later than three (3) business days from the date of filing.
Q: Will I be able to speak to a person before or after completing the Trademark Application WizardTM?
A: Yes, you can call the Law Firm at any time to receive live help.
Q: What is the Farber Trademark Community?
A: It is a select group of like-minded business individuals who have either used the Trademark Application WizardTM or who have sought in-office representation. These companies LOGO/Brand is included, free of charge, on both the Law Firm’s main website and here. The benefit of this is the Law Firm’s employs search engine optimization for its own sites, with information linked to your corporate identity, so as the Law Firm’s presence grows, so does the client’s. We want to be a part of your business, not just a necessary means to an end through filing trademarks. As such, the Law Firm may periodically review your online presence or your goods offered and make suggestions to you that you may want to consider to protect your business. We may also contact you to potentially schedule a visit with your local businesses to review your corporate structure, contracts, insurance policies, and good/services offered so that you can plan for the future. While the Law Firm is not meaning to imply that by joining the Farber Trademark Community, an ongoing attorney-client relationship is formed (as it is not) – it is good to know, however, that you can call on us when you are in need or we may be looking out for you without sending you a legal bill.
Q: Are all my communications with the Law Firm safe, secure, and confidential?
A: Yes. Only necessary information required by the USPTO will be provided to it; otherwise, all additional information will be as secure as if provided In-Office. Of course, depending on the security of your internet connection, your electronic communication could be subject to interception by a third-party; therefore, if you would otherwise provide the information requested by the law firm via facsimile, please feel free to do so at 305-774-0135.
